The rarely heard number features on Tony Award-nominated Melissa Errico's new album, 'Sondheim in the City'

What do you get when you combine Sondheim with Cool Jazz? The answer is this! Melissa Errico's sumptuous performance of 'What More Do I Need?' from Stephen Sondheim's 1955 musical Saturday Night is the perfect way to end a busy week. The number features on a brand new album of jazz-infused arrangements of songs by the legendary composer/lyricist 'Sondheim in the City'.

Saturday Night was composed in 1955 and set to be Sondheim's composer/lyricist Broadway debut, various circumstances meant that it was shelved until 1997 where a revised version had a short run at the Bridewell Theatre in London. The number comes towards the end of the show when leading man Gene Gorman finally decides to forgo the glitz of Wall Street and New York to follow his love to the country.
