Gavin Creel’s memorial to be live-streamed on US and UK YouTube channels

SOLT’s OfficialLondonTheatre will host the 2 December service for UK viewers
Those close to beloved Broadway actor Gavin Creel will host a memorial celebration at the St James Theatre, 246 West 44th Street, New York City on Monday 2 December. The event will be live-streamed by MCC Theater and Society of London Theatre (SOLT).
The SOLT stream at 9pm GMT can be accessed via the society’s YouTube channel, OfficialLondonTheatre. Said a spokesperson for SOLT: ‘The Society of London Theatre are proud to be livestreaming the memorial via their OfficialLondonTheatre YouTube channel. Gavin Creel was an Olivier Award winner and made a huge impact on the theatre community in London with his passionate charity work, particularly for Acting For Others.’
In addition, in a powerful nod to the performer’s impact on the international theatre community, every Broadway theatre will dim its lights on Tuesday 3 December in Creel’s honour.
