Groundhog Day (1)
Based on the classic 90s film starring Bill Murray, the smash-hit Olivier Awards-winning musical GROUNDHOG DAY is returning for a limited run at London’s Old Vic in 2023.
This hilarious musical is brought to the stage by four of the Matilda The Musical team, composer and lyricist Tim Minchin, writer Danny Rubin, choreographer Peter Darling and designer Rob Howell.
GROUNDHOG DAY had its world premiere in London in 2016 with a critically acclaimed limited 10-week season at The Old Vic, before opening on Broadway at the August Wilson Theatre in 2017 where it received 7 Tony Award nominations including Best New Musical and another Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role for Andy Karl, reprising his role as Phil Connors from London.
